Petaluma California

Not much going on the last couple of days. We took a drive into downtown Petaluma. There is a lot of history here. We did the Victorian Home Walking Tour and was a little disappointed. They did have some nice homes but a lot of them were overgrown with weed and in disrepair. After downtown we took a drive out in the country. I found this to be more enjoyable driving past a few wineries, miniature horse farms, and a pasture with some BIG old bulls. The roads were so bad though, that I spent a lot of time dodging the potholes.

Today I took a walk along the Petaluma River and Bird Preserve. Interesting sights along the river.
