Happy New Year to all. We had another great year last year. Our intention was to head up through Utah, Wyoming, and Montana and visit the National Parks along the way. We started out with spending the 4th of July in Las Vegas and when we got to Zion it was 110ยบ. Way too hot to enjoy hiking through the National Parks. Also there was the worst wildfire in Utah’s history blocking our way by closing off 150 miles if I-15. So the decision was made to head for the coast.
The year closed with us back in Lake Havasu Arizona. We spent New Years Eve at a party at a friend’s house. The weather was absolutely great the day we arrived and the day after, however it has got cool and real windy for the last 2 days. This is typical for this area this time of year though. Soon it will warm up and keep on going into downright hot. We will enjoy the transition in the next couple of months.
