Big trees

So the owner of this RV Park also own a Log Truck. No not a Logging Truck, A Log Truck.

This is an old fire truck that he restored and mounted a hollowed out log on the back of. He came around this morning and asked if Landen wanted a ride. Of course Landed isn’t going to turn down a ride in a Log Truck.

No, he didn’t get to drive,

he rode in the back.

Later we took off to drive the Avenue of the Giants, in the Saturn this time. Boy, them are some big trees.

This is a tree that fell and Landen is standing by the root ball. We took hikes through ancient redwoods, some more than 1,000 years old. It’s amazing that these trees have been through Loggers, Fire and Floods and still servive.

Tomorrow we move on again.
