Last night I called the Elks Lodge here in Napa and asked about availability of an RV site. They told me they were full but one was pulling out in the morning. Well when we arrived this morning at around 10:00a sure enough, there was one site available. And it is a fine site at that. It is an end site so we don’t have to stare at the RV next door. Instead we have a view of the woods and an active jogging trail. Beyond the jogging trail is the Napa River and beyond that are wine vineyards.
Dan, as you stay quite often at Elks Lodges in the West, can you tell me if there are plenty of Elks Lodges along the Eastern part of the US that also have camping facilities.
ReplyDeleteBeing from MI. and planning on traveling when I retire this winter and this would really help the budget.
I tried to email you on netzero but it would not go through.
Thanks for any info you can furnish me about the elks.

I would imagine that doing the weekends that the campsites fill up pretty fast. Sounds like a great site. Your are for sure getting your money's worth.
ReplyDeleteYou must be in #7, its the best site. What a experience you have provided Landen, something he will never forget. Enjoy the rest of the trip.
ReplyDeleteYour right Ralph. It’s the best site in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteFred, I emailed you the info you need.
