We made it to California today. We arrives at our daughters house about 1:00 pm their time. The trip went well even though I had a small space to sit compared to the motorhome.
The car was packed for the trip. I was real pleased though that the Saturn got 38.6 MPG. I guess it really likes highway driving.

We will be heading to Arkansas to visit our daughter in January and I think our car will look pretty much the same....

reminds me of the trip from central Iowa to central Texas earlier this year. We left the fifth wheel in Iowa and drove an HHR packed with two weeks worth of stuff plus Christmas gifts for seven of our ten grandkids.
